Saving Your Marriage

Many things can cause a marriage to experience trouble and strife. For instance, infidelity, low self esteem issues, not communicating. lack of interest in the other person's pursuits. The list is endless. However, there are things that can be done to get a marriage back on track, when it comes to saving your marriage.

And recognise that from the outset that your marriage CAN be saved. The key is to ensure you both want to save it. Many, many couples have marriage challenges and yet find ways to work through them and end up with good, healthy balanced marriages, often stronger than before the issues occurred because of their new ability to learn how to see things from each other’s perspective.

If you, like many other couples, are experiencing a marriage on the rocks, you may be eager to learn how to save your marriage. When a marriage is in trouble there are several things you should immediately focus upon that may help things begin to turn around for you and your partner.

The following are things you should focus on if your marriage is in trouble:

1) Patience - It is important to be patient with your partner. Even if he or she is trying the limits of your patience, or is not patient with you, try to stay calm. Getting upset, angry or irrational will not help matters.

2) Communication - Communication is essential in any marriage. Both partners need to communicate their needs, wants, likes, dislikes and anything else they feel needs to be talked about. Without open lines of communication, things can go seriously awry in a marriage.

3) Emotional Support - Many times, when people are trying to discover how to save a marriage, they may not realize the trouble is due to lack of emotional support from one or both of the partners. Try to start supporting your partner emotionally, in order to make him or her know that you care about whatever it is he or she may happen to be going through.

Patience, emotional support and communication are all things that will certainly help down the path of saving your marriage, but do not expect immediate results from implementing any of the above. Once your marriage is in a less than optimal place, it is going to take some work to get it back on track. The above tips can be extremely helpful for those couples who are committed to their marriage. However, if there seem to be issues that cannot be resolved on your own, then it may be time to seek out the services of a marriage counsellor to help in saving your marriage. Just remember that it takes time to get back to that happy place.

Catch Him and Keep Him is clearly one of our favourites.

So many men...but where are all of the quality men? Are there any good ones left or are they all married?

Most of the guys in my (Louise's) past were boring or worse - many were "players" and cheated, were emotionally abusive or distant, or dumped me for no reason.

Sound familiar?

We found a lot of solace and real guidance in T W Jackson's The Magic of Making Up.

One of the refreshing aspects of The Magic Of Making Up was that it was not the "same ol, same ol." In other words, it wasn't another rehash of old advice on making up which generally runs along the lines of "give it time."

The Woman Men Adore ...and Never Want to Leave is a popular guide written by Bob Grant. The ebook claims that it can help you draw your man to you, but can it really work?

The book promises to offer value to just about any woman by revealing how to use tools and assets that they already have to attract the kind of man they want or to improve their current relationship. We're sure that every woman on the planet would want the book if it is as it says, but does the book really deliver what it promises?
